EXCELLENTBased on 45 reviewsPhoenix FMay 23, 2024We frequently visit the Stitch Station for a coffee and cake, along with the occasional bite to eat at lunchtime too. Our well-behaved Golden Retriever is always welcomed with treats and a fresh bowl of water. Our daughter also loves coming along to pick up some wool and inspiration for her next crochet project.Joshua SathiakiriApril 27, 2024Great food & coffee; reasonably priced too. Lots of games and books for kids, and the staff are brilliant. Can’t ask for much more.MichaelApril 21, 2024The staff are friendly and the location is great, service is pretty good but considering the prices on the menu it leaves quite a bit to be desired. Vanilla milkshake was subpar and pretty small for £5 and the cake (£4) was decent but nothing to write home about. The place was packed and it was a busy Saturday afternoon so some allowances can be made for any margins of error.Angel LeeMarch 24, 2024A relaxing and cozy local cafe with great coffee. Nice ppl and dog friendly.Robert BatesFebruary 15, 2024Great friendly place福ꜱᴀᴡʏᴇʀFebruary 10, 2024Always a great visit, lovely food & knowledgeable about all things woolMarc KerridgeJanuary 18, 2024Just a lovely place to have a coffee, always friendly and they love to have dogs visiting too.Patrice ClearyOctober 27, 2023Love it here ❣️ we go most Mondays it's a lovely friendly place great atmosphere always sharing with friends & family.. EXCELLENTBased on 9 reviewsRebecca PJune 29, 2024Beautiful little cafe Stunning hunters chicken meal, speciality lemonade was delicious. Excellent customer service. Book swap area which I loved. Workshops available too. Lovely place to spend with my bestie.Kevin SFebruary 21, 2024Wonderful craft shop & cafe. Well worth a visit. Wonderful ‘find’ whilst looking for wool/yarn/craft. Marvellous range of items but also a fabulous cafe. Food & service were both excellent. Would return just for the food alone !!Juli HAugust 9, 2023Gorgeous afternoon tea We eat here quite often and love it, so we decided to treat a visiting friend to afternoon tea. The picture below doesn't really do it justice - we had a good selection of sandwiches (more than we could eat) with freshly made scones, macarons and a generous piece of Victoria sponge. It is served with tea or coffee and a glass of elderflower pressé - a lovely original touch. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, but what really makes the experience here is the lovely staff. Every one of them is so friendly and welcoming, and they really can't do enough to help. If knitting or crochet's your thing they will happily stop to chat about your latest project - if not they'll just drop by every now and then to check on you and refill your drink. My friend, who is an avid knitter, says the yarn shop alone is well worth a visit too. Highly recommended.GlendacheshireMay 24, 2023Well worth a visit. The Stitch has only been open for just over 12 months but it has made a fantastic addition to the local community. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, the surroundings are cosy, the food is good and the coffee excellent. They are mindful of environmental issues and have recycled furniture and run groups for people interested in knitting and other pursuits. You can even enjoy a game of chess there. The staff are excellent. Well worth a visit, I go on a regular basis.Emma HMarch 22, 2023Highly recommend !! What a lovely little cafe! I visited this place with a friend while walking the dog and all the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The cafe is dog friendly and they gave my dog the puppychino which was very kind and a nice surprise. The food and drinks were delicious, you can tell everything was homemade, fresh cakes too! I would highly recommend this lovely small cafe and I will definitely be coming again very soon! We need more places this in the area. Thank you 😊Lauren HFebruary 28, 2023A lovely hub at the heart of the community I visited stitch station on Monday to meet with a local wedding florist and it was a fab location to sit down and have a chat. I ordered a halloumi wrap which was delicious and had a chai latte which is the best I’ve had! I am already looking forward to more wedding planning sessions here accompanied by great food and drinks! Don’t forget to check out their cabinet with items from local sellers :-)Culture172956January 29, 2023Lunch What a lovely little cafe, so welcoming and friendly will definitely be back. I found this place by accident after being turned away rather impolitely from a large restaurantMancJRGNovember 9, 2022Ladies that lunch! I stumbled across this beautiful cafe and have now visited several times. No parking outside so a short walk from neighbouring street parking. There is always a fabulous display of homemade cakes and delicious sandwiches. Staff are very friendly and make you feel welcome. For any craft lovers there is a yarn store upstairs and craft classes held there.Juli HJuly 27, 2022Lovely community cafe Gorgeous little cafe with a real community feel. The ladies who run it are all lovely and go out of their way to be helpful (for example, my daughter and I decided to share dessert, so it was served cut in half and on two plates - full marks for attention to detail!). The food is delicious and the yarn shop upstairs is well worth a visit too. Definitely worth a detour if you're travelling via Penketh station.
