We run numerous workshops at Stitch Station that are delivered by our team of expert local tutors. Whatever your skill level or crafting experience, we’re sure you’ll find something of interest in our regular and seasonal programmes.

Knit and Crochet Workshops

Learn to knit and crochet at Stitch Station with Marianne Penny, one of our expert local tutors. We run regular beginner’s, intermediate and advanced workshops to cater for all levels of experience. Beginners Crochet is our most popular and most requested workshop, and many people have started their crochet journey here with us!

Stitching and Embroidery Workshops

Slow down and enjoy some mindful stitching at Stitch Station with Polly Thorpe, one of our expert local tutors. In these workshops you will use a variety of fabrics, threads and easy embroidery stitches to create beautiful hand-stitched pieces.

Floristry and Wreath Making Workshops

Learn new floristry skills at Stitch Station with Donna Smith, our local studio florist and sustainable artisan grower. Donna’s wreath making workshops are extremely popular and early booking is advisable.

Macrame Workshops

New to the wonderful world of Macrame? Let our expert local tutor, Alison Lightfoot, guide you from basic knots to intricate designs in one of our many workshops. We also stock a range of Alison’s Macrame Kits.

Knit and Natter Groups

…or “Knit n Knatter or Crochet and Chat”!

Join us at Stitch Station for our popular knit and natter sessions. These are a great way to make new friends or work together on our community projects! Sessions run three times a week and places are pre-bookable at £7 per person, which includes coffee and cake (or tea and toast).

MONDAY 11am – 1pm Upstairs in our yarn shop and crafting space

WEDNESDAY 1:30pm – 3:30pm Downstairs in our coffee shop (accessible, assistance dogs welcome)

THURSDAY 11am – 1pm Upstairs in our yarn shop and crafting space
